This is the web site for the organisation called Arts & Business. This organisation is an agency concerned with fostering links and partnerships between the Arts and Business. It includes lots of information such as Working with Business (from the Arts point of view), Working with the Arts (from the business point of view), case studies, lists of Arts & Business partners, Professional development programmes, Creative forums, Arts and Business contacts and much more.

a n is an artists network web site. It is a visual and applied artists site for UK news, information resources, contacts, opportunities, artists stories, careers advice and more.

This is an online Arts Consultants and Trainers directory run by the Regional Arts Boards.

Arts Council of England
The web site of the Arts Council has comprehensive coverage of the arts. Information available includes its own mission statement, funding, etc.It also includes information on collaborative arts, dance drama, literature, music and the visual arts. Under each of these headings are listed national agencies and their web links.

Arts Marketing Association
This is the web site of the AMA (Arts Marketing Association) they are a professional organisation aimed at people working in arts marketing in the UK.

Arts Professional magazine
The fortnightly Arts Business
Magazine aimed at all professionals involved in the management, administration and developments of arts and museums.

Arts Research Digest
This is the web site of the publication Arts Research Digest. It is possible to access this journal online for the latest research information on key areas of the arts such as policy, funding, training education, health, digital arts and much more. Its bibliographic coverage is wide and particularly useful for those doing research into the Arts.

BAFA
This is the web site of the British Arts Festivals Association (BAFA). BAFA provides information and
a professional network for the festivals movement. The site includes calender of festivals, map of the UK, A-Z of festivals, event types and web links.

The British Council
This is the British Councils web pages and outlines its involvement with the arts. This includes how it promotes British creativity world wide and its own arts activity in individual countries. This web site also has links to other web sites.

British Film Institute
This is the British Film Institutes own web site and is comprehensive. It includes news, own publications and the latest edition of its excellent journal Sight and Sound and much more.

Centre for Creative Communities
This is the website of the Centre for Creative Communities. Creative communities are and independent charity which works in arts and education, cultural exchanges, and urban regeneration. Its aim is to promote the building of creative and sustainable communites, where creativity and learning have pivotal roles in personal, social and cultural development. The site includes information on the centre, its history and background. It also includes two types of weblinks – Hot Links and Creative Links On-line. To use Creative Links you must register in includes a database of organisations, individuals from the Arts, Education and Voluntary sectors who are interested and/or involved in collaborative community development projects.

Independent Street Arts Network
ISAN is an independent group of presenters and promoters of street arts throughout the UK working to develop the art form through networking, information, collaboration, lobbying, training and advocacy. The website has information on training and events, descriptions of Street Arts and a Manifesto (under news and events).

This is the Guardian newspaper's online jobs vacancies site; where you can search by various categories including 'creative, media and sales', 'education', 'public sector', 'new media'… and more. You can also search by key words or phrases as well as looking at selected employer pages.

This is the home page of The Stage newspaper. From this site you can choose a category for which you would like to see job vacancies. These categories range from 'actors', 'entertainers', through to 'backstage', 'admin' etc.

This is the web site of 'Arts Professional - the magazine for arts professionals'. From the home page just click on 'Arts Professional Recruitment' for a listing of vacancies largely focusing on arts administration.

Legal update for voluntary organisations
This web site includes a legal update service aimed at helping
organisations keep up to date with changes in the law (excludes Ireland and Scotland). There are direct links to government guidance, regulations and legislation. It is also the home site of Sandy Adirondack who is a freelance management consultant specialising in legal advice to voluntary organisations.

Metier
Metier is the national training organisation for the Arts and Entertainment Sector. Its purpose is to promote and guide the sector in issues regarding vocational training and education. Metier is a standard setting body so the web site has information on standards and qualifications, general careers information, employers guides and educational support material.

The National Campaign for the Arts
The national campaign for the arts is an independent lobbying organisation that represents all of the arts. This web site includes arts news, arts key facts from a political perspective in terms of the activities of this lobbying organisation. The key arts facts provides some useful information about Government funding, Arts and the Public including audience participation, Arts and the Economy and much more.

Regional Arts Boards
This is the web site of the Regional Arts Boards. It is England's top site for arts information.

This is the web site for the Council for Museums, Libraries and Archives. This organisation is a strategic agency working with and for museums, libraries and archives throughout the UK.

Voluntary Arts Network
This is the web site of the Voluntary Arts Network who are the UK's development agency for the voluntary arts. Its mission is to promote participation in the arts. The organisation produces its own quarterly newsletter, briefing sheets and offers specialised arts management training for those working in this sector.
